Terms of Service

The rules for using this website and the free tools on it. Consulting engagements are governed by a signed agreement, not by this page.

Agreement

By using mcleanaisolutions.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms cover the website, the AI Opportunity Finder, the newsletter, and the client portal.

They do not cover paid work. Every engagement — audit, training, implementation, assistant deployment, or retainer — runs on a separate signed proposal or statement of work. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the signed agreement wins.

What the free tools are — and are not

The AI Opportunity Finder produces estimates. It takes the numbers you enter — hours lost, team size, revenue band — and projects what automating that work could be worth. It is a structured starting point for a conversation, in the spirit of the first thirty minutes of a real audit.

It is not:

  • a guarantee of savings, revenue, or any particular result;
  • professional legal, tax, accounting, financial, or medical advice;
  • a substitute for a real audit, which examines your actual systems rather than your estimate of them.

The output is only as good as the inputs. If your hour estimates are rough, the dollar figures are rough — that is arithmetic, not a disclaimer. Please do not make an irreversible business decision on the strength of a four-minute diagnostic alone.

The same goes for everything in Resources: published guidance written in general terms, not advice tailored to your situation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to submit anyone else's personal information without their permission;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, the client portal, or any account, system, or data that is not yours;
  • scrape, crawl, or automate against the site in a way that degrades it for others, or circumvent rate limits and other technical protections;
  • submit false contact details, impersonate anyone, or use our forms to distribute spam or malware.

Good-faith security research is welcome. If you find a vulnerability, tell us at privacy@mcleanaisolutions.com before disclosing it, and give us a reasonable window to fix it.

Newsletter

Subscribing means you want the newsletter; it does not mean you want a sales call. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately and permanently. We do not sell or share the list. If you got an issue you did not sign up for, reply and tell us — we would rather know.

Client portal

Portal accounts are for the client organization we created them for. Sign-in links are single-use and time-limited; do not forward them. Tell us promptly if you think someone has access who should not, or if someone leaves your team. We may suspend an account we believe is compromised or misused.

Pricing

Prices shown on this site are current list prices and starting points, and they can change. The price that binds either of us is the one written into a signed proposal or statement of work. Where a service shows a range, the figure quoted to you depends on scope — we would rather tell you that plainly here than surprise you later.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — copy, structure, diagrams, frameworks, and the Opportunity Finder itself — belongs to McLean AI Solutions. You are welcome to read it, share links to it, quote it with attribution, and use the report the Finder generates for your own business, including internally with your team. You may not republish substantial portions of the site as your own, or resell our materials.

Ownership of deliverables produced during a paid engagement is set by that engagement's agreement.

Third-party services and links

We link out to tools, vendors, and scheduling services we do not control — including Cal.com for booking. Their terms and privacy policies govern what happens on their side. A link is not an endorsement of everything a vendor does, and mentioning a tool in our writing does not mean we have a commercial relationship with it. If we ever do, we will say so.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The website and its free tools are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, McLean AI Solutionsis not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of this website or its free tools. Our total liability arising from the website and free tools is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100.00). Liability arising from a paid engagement is governed by that engagement's agreement, not by this cap.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Privacy

How we handle information you give us is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent substantive change, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from them belongs in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and we each consent to that jurisdiction.
